Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15

The mission of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.

Our trained volunteers provided a great time of scripture memorization, recreation, and FUN!!

  • AWANA Clubs are for children ages 3 (by Sept. 30 of the current year and potty trained) through 5thgrade.
  • AWANA runs from September to May
  • Club meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:00 until 7:30 PM
  • Club has a theme night once a month. The 2009-10 Theme Night Calendar (click here for the calendar).
  • Club dues are $0.50 per child per week.
  • There are some cost associated with AWANA for uniforms and books. Scholarships are available.

Kids ages three and four have a grea time learning Bible stories. Games, crafts, and snacks make for a lively experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. After only two years, your child will have learned 55 memory verses.
Note: Children must be 3 years old by Sept. 30th and potty trained.

Kindergarten through 2nd Graders are collectively known as Sparks.  Sparks club meetings are divided into three segments - Counsel Time, Handbook Time, and Game Time.  Sparks learn basic truths about God, Jesus Christ, salvation, and the Bible.  During the three years as a Spark, kids will learn over 96 verses, many of which cover salvation and key doctrine.

Boys and Girls in grades 3 through 5 participate in Truth & Training. The name Truth and Training reflects the passion of AWANA to teach the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.  Scripture memorization remains a priority and counsel time teaches the kids how to grow into Godly young men and women.  Games help kids burn off extra energy and teach them how to be a team player.
